Originally used to pack 330/355 ml standard (D 66 x H 115/122 mm) beverage cans loose and pre-packed as either 6x3=18 or 6x4=24 on tray + film. Last used for 500 ml PET bottles (D 64 x H 204 mm) as 4x3=12 on tray + film.
